Everyone who signs in has their own account. You can also belong to other accounts: a landlord who added you to their team, an agency you work for, or a company that invited you as staff. Your sign-in stays the same in all of them.
See which account you are in
When you belong to more than one account, a button at the top of every page names the account you are working in and your role there, for example Rentiqa Admin · Staff. Your own account says Your own. On a phone it is in the top bar too, and in More under Working in.
If you belong to only your own account, the button does not appear.
Switch accounts
- Press the account button at the top of the page.
- Choose the account. You land on its home page, and the button shows the new account.
You can also switch from Your team: Your accounts lists every account you belong to, with a Switch button on each.
Rentiqa remembers the account you used last and opens it the next time you sign in.
What changes when you switch
- The menu follows the account. In your own account you have your usual views (renting, hosting, renting out, work as a contractor). In someone else's account you have only what your role there allows: the landlord menu with, for example, just Listings if that is all you were given, the host menu for stays, the agent pages in an agency's account. If you were given nothing to work on yet, the menu has the team and your messages.
- The pages show the account you are working in, and only that account: its places, listings, leases, repairs, stays and payouts, as far as your role there allows. Nothing from your other accounts is mixed in.
- The Your team page shows that account's team. Owners and managers can invite people and change what they may do; staff see the team but cannot change it.
- Some things stay with the account's owner: adding or removing places, setting up where payouts go, and giving places to an agency. In someone else's account the page tells you so.
- An agency's people see the places its clients gave it while they work in the agency's account.
- Your profile, your sign-in and security, your identity check, and your own bookings, trips and lease are always yours, whichever account you are in. A stay you book is booked on your own account, and so are your payments.
- A link to something in one of your other accounts, from an email for example, still opens.
Messages in another account
Your conversations are yours, so they stay in your own account. While you work in another account, the inbox shows that account's rental inquiries (if you may answer them) and a note with how many of your own messages are unread, with Open your own messages to go back. A small number on the account button at the top counts your unread messages too, so nothing waits unseen.
After you accept an invitation
Accepting an invitation adds you to that account; it does not move you there. The banner on the Team page offers Work in the account now, or switch later with the account button.
Next: Your team.
