Each landlord who invited you keeps their own entry for you in their contractor list. Your business profile is yours: you write it once, and every landlord or host who has you on their list sees it on your entry. Open it from the sidebar under Work › Business profile (Business profile), or from your profile page.
What is on it
- Your business: your name, business name, phone and the email you want jobs sent to, your trades (tick as many as apply) and a few lines about your work.
- Where you work: your service area in your own words and the town you are based in.
- Rates: an hourly rate, a minimum charge if you have one, and whether you take emergency calls. Jobs are still priced one by one: a landlord assigns a job at a price you agreed or asks you to quote.
- Insurance and licence: your carrier and the date your insurance runs to, your licence number, state and expiry. A date that has passed shows as expired to landlords.
- Proof and files: after you save once, add your certificate of insurance and your licence under Proof and files. Files marked visible to the landlord show on their entry for you; the rest are yours alone.
The first time you open the page it is pre-filled from what a landlord entered about you when they invited you. Check it and press Save profile.
Who sees it
Only landlords and hosts who have you on their contractor list, on your entry under Maintenance › Contractors. There is no public contractor listing, and other contractors never see it.
Next: Maintenance jobs and quotes.
