For guests
Booking a short stay - finding a place, booking and paying, checking in and out, and what happens if plans change.
A guest (called a renter in the app) books short stays from hosts. The typical path: search and save places, book, get your check-in details, stay, check out, and leave a review.
Guides, in the order you will need them
- Find a stay Search short-term stays by place, dates, price and party size, read a listing, and know which places you can book.
- Save and share lists Keep homes you like in named lists, share a list with a link, or plan a trip together with friends.
- Book a stay The four booking steps, what you pay and when, and the difference between a request the host approves and an instant booking.
- Your trips Follow a booking from request to stay on the Trips page, see what each status means, and message your host.
- Check in and check out Where to find the address, arrival instructions and door code, and what Check in and Check out do.
- Cancel a booking Cancel from your trip page before you check in, and see what you get back before you confirm.
- Leave a review Rate your stay after you check out. Your review shows on the listing with your first name, and the host can reply.
- Damage claims If a host reports damage after a stay with a security deposit, you approve or dispute it before the deadline. Nothing is charged without your approval or Rentiqa's review.
