For hosts

Short-term rentals - listing a place, pricing and calendars, bookings, guests, cleaning, deposits, taxes and payouts.

A host on Rentiqa rents a place for short stays. The typical path: add your place, set prices and rules, connect the calendars of other sites you list on, take bookings, look after guests and turnover cleaning, and get paid after each stay.

Guides, in the order you will need them

  1. List your first place Give the address of your first rental to become a host, then add the details, photos and check-in instructions guests need.
  2. Set prices and availability Weekday and weekend prices, cleaning and extra-guest fees, minimum stay, special prices for date ranges, and blocking dates.
  3. How guests book Choose instant book or request to book and a cancellation policy, make the place public, and check why a public place might still not take bookings.
  4. Today and your bookings Your Today screen, approving or declining requests, what guests see, double bookings, and messaging guests.
  5. Lodging taxes Who collects and pays the lodging tax for your address, adding your own local taxes, registrations, and your tax statement.
  6. Sync your Airbnb and Vrbo calendars Connect calendars both ways so a night booked on one site is blocked on the others.
  7. Import from Airbnb or Vrbo Copy your existing Airbnb or Vrbo listings into Rentiqa with the Rentiqa Importer browser extension, then review them before anything is saved.
  8. Smart locks and door codes Connect supported smart locks so every guest, cleaner and contractor gets their own door code for their stay or visit.
  9. Cleaning between stays Each check-out creates a cleaning task. Schedule it, give it to your cleaner, and sign it off before the next guest.
  10. Deposits and damage claims How a security deposit works on a stay, filing a damage claim after check-out, and what happens when the guest accepts or disputes it.
  11. Cancellations Declining requests, letting a request expire, what happens when a guest cancels, and cancelling a confirmed stay.
  12. Reviews Read what guests wrote after their stays and reply to them.
  13. Get paid Set up your payout account, understand when booking money is released after each stay, and route each place to the right account.
